For the past two years or so now, I have made it my decision to declare that “God Is Faithful” over any circumstance faced and encourage others with it as well. Over time, some have asked why I always say this when things are going well and not-so well.
My explanation has been simple, the Bible says in Deuteronomy 7:9 NIV, “Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.”
Once I came into the knowledge of His love for me and that His covenant remains true despite my moments of triumph, lows, or things that I will experience in the future, I could not help but remind myself of this daily!
Even when we feel as if our faith is less-than, it tells us in 2 Timothy 2:13 NIV, “if we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself.” Our loving Father remains faithful even in our most difficult times. Does this mean that we are now doubting who He is in our lives and His ability to see us through? Not at all! We are all human and subject to feel as if we are faithless at times.
However, as mentioned in a previous post, our response during these times can ultimately dictate many of our outcomes.
Should we remain in this state? Or do we continue to declare and remind ourselves of His Word that says He is a faithful God? I pray we always choose the latter. 😊.
Declare today that our God Is Faithful! He loves you so much and so do I!❤️
